On March 26, 2014, the Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Committee will host a teleconference on the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) new rules amending the implementing regulations of the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974. The rules are designed to increase veterans' employment by requiring contractors to enhance their recruitment efforts and establish benchmarks for hiring veterans. Certain provisions in the new rules take effect March 24, 2016.
